Sept. 26, 2007 CHICAGO -- University of Chicago senior linebacker Gaby Fernandez (Miami, Fla./ Columbus) and freshman defensive end Justin Kaderabek (Caledonia, Ill./ Boylan Catholic) have been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week. Fernandez, who yesterday was chosen as the University Athletic Association Defensive Athlete of the Week, intercepted three passes and forced a fumble in the Maroons' 21-13 win over Macalester College at Stagg Field this past Saturday. Two of his picks came in the fourth quarter. Kaderabek recorded 5.5 tackles-for-loss and 4.5 sacks. He finished the day with seven tackles, including six solos. |
