CHICAGO -- University of Chicago senior forward Nate Hainje (Brownsburg, Ind./ Brownsburg) has been selected to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week, which honors the top players at each position from throughout the NCAA Division III.

Hainje collected 54 points, 18 rebounds, and six assists as the Maroons won a pair of University Athletic Association games to move into tie with Washington (Mo.) University atop the league standings.

He scored a career-high 30 points and grabbed 12 boards in an 81-62 win over New York University (Feb. 22) before scoring a game-high 24 points in a 74-66 victory over sixth-ranked Brandeis University (Feb. 24).

Hainje's 30-point, 12-rebound effort against NYU marked his sixth double-double in UAA play -- the most for any player in the league.

Hainje is currently the only player in the UAA to rank among the league's top ten in scoring (4th, 15.9), rebounding (4th, 7.3), and assists (8th, 3.5).
