CHICAGO -- Kevin Bigart scored midway though the first overtime period to lift fifth-ranked Case Western Reserve University to a 2-1 win over the University of Chicago in University Athletic Association men's soccer action Friday at Stagg Field.

Bigart headed in a corner kick off the foot of teammate Justin Steggerda 5:54 into the first overtime stanza as Case (12-3-1 overall, 3-2 UAA) completed the come-from-behind win.

Case evened the score in the 54th minute when Matt Paglia took a cross from Steggerda and scored from 12 yards out.

Case held a 12-8 edge in shots and a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Chad Skidmore made one save for the Spartans, while freshman goalkeeper Steven Baron (Chalfont, Pa./ Penn Charter) collected a pair for Chicago.

The Maroons dropped their third straight match, while Case extended its unbeaten streak to four games (3-0-1).
