Maroons Fall to UW-Green Bay
CHICAGO -- Playing its third match of the season against a Division I opponent, the University of Chicago men's tennis team fell 5-2 to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Sunday at Bally's Hyde Park.
Freshman Tim Walsh (Winter Springs, Fla./ Winter Springs) posted a 6-2, 6-0 victory at second singles, while fellow first-year Paul Namkoong (Tacoma, Wash./ Bellarmine) won 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8) at sixth singles.
Chicago slipped to 6-3 on the season (5-1 vs. NCAA Division III opponents, 1-2 vs. Division I foes).
Wisconsin-Green Bay evened its record at 5-5.
