Jan. 12, 2008 Track Falls at Wis.-Oshkosh Dual OSHKOSH, Wis. -- The University of Chicago men's indoor track & field team opened its 2008 campaign Saturday with a 100-56 loss in dual meet competition at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Senior Ryan McCarl (Muskegon, Mich./ Mona Shores) won the mile-run competition (4:33.20) and ran the second leg of the Maroons' first-place distance medley relay (11:10.04). Freshman Jacob Solus (Crestwood, Ill./ Oak Forest) turned in the Maroons' other first-place performance with a 14.25-meter distance in the triple jump. |
