August 23, 2007 CHICAGO -- University of Chicago Director of Athletics Tom Weingartner announced today that Ellen Bator has been appointed assistant men's & women's swimming coach/assistant aquatics director. Bator is a 2007 graduate of North Park University, where she was the founder and head coach of the North Park Swim Club. She also served as a lifeguard and swim instructor for the Buheler YMCA in Palatine, Ill., from 2002-05 and was a senior swim coach for the Salt Creek Park District in Palatine in 2001. Bator joins the staff of Head Coach Jason Weber, who enters his second year at Chicago in 2007-08. |
