Apr. 18, 2008 Chicago Ranked #2, #23 in NCAA Power Rankings CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago women's and men's outdoor track & field teams have been ranked second and 23rd, respectively, in this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division III Power Rankings. In the women's rankings, Chicago (257.46 points) trailed only top-ranked Calvin College (261.83). On the men's side, Chicago collected 257.44 points. Whitworth University (307.88) held the top spot. Chicago plays host to the 2008 University Athletic Association Championships this Saturday and Sunday (Apr. 19-20) at the Ted Haydon Track. |
