Chicago Ranked 7th, 27th in NCAA Power Rankings
CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago women's and men's outdoor track & field teams have been ranked seventh and 27th, respectively, in this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III Power Rankings.
Chicago's women totaled 283.04 points in this week's poll. Washington (Mo.) University (295.44), Calvin College (294.26), and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (292.19) were the top three teams.
In the men's rankings, Chicago collected 283.57 points. Augustana (Ill.) College (333.37), North Central College (323.26), and Whitworth University (317.67) held the top three spots.
Chicago plays host to the Penultimate Invitational Saturday, May 10 at the Ted Haydon Track.
