Oct. 3, 2007 CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago volleyball team dropped a three-game decision to Benedictine (Ill.) University Wednesday night at the Ratner Athletics Center, falling 30-13, 30-26, 30-21. Freshman outside hitter Elizabeth Kossnar (Park Ridge, Ill./ Maine South) led the Maroons (3-14) with seven kills and three block assists. Chicago hit a season-low .095 (27-17-105) en route to its eighth straight setback. Benedictine improved to 19-2. |
