CHICAGO -- Making their final 2007 appearance at the Ratner Athletics Center, the University of Chicago volleyball team dropped a 30-22, 30-25, 30-16 decision to the Illinois Institute of Technology Wednesday evening.

Junior outside hitter Kerry Dornfeld (Cary, Ill./ Cary) led the Maroons (5-20) with seven kills and .350 attack percentage.

Playing in her final career home match, senior middle hitter Koryn Kendall (Napa, Calif./ Vintage) collected five kills, three blocks, and a pair of aces. She increased her school record total blocks sum to 369.

Chicago hit .155 for the match -- its third-lowest mark of the year.

Illinois Tech improved to 24-10.
