Nov. 27, 2007 Maroons Ranked 18th in Division III Polls CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago women's basketball team has been ranked 18th in this week's D3hoops.com and USA Today/ESPN NCAA Division III polls. Chicago, which received votes in D3hoops.com's preseason poll, is off to a 4-0 start. In their most recent outing this past Saturday, the Maroons defeated the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire 56-49 to win the UWEC Thanksgiving Showcase. The Maroons put their 30-game non-conference winning streak on the line Wednesday, Nov. 28 when they entertain 10th-ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (3-0) at the Ratner Athletics Center at 7 p.m. |
