Dec. 5, 2007 Chicago Rises, Falls in NCAA Division III Polls CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago women's basketball team has been ranked 16th and 21st, respectively, in this week's D3hoops.com and USA Today/ESPN NCAA Division III polls. Chicago, which ranked 18th in both polls a week ago, sports a 5-1 overall record. The Maroons split a pair of games last week, falling to #7/9 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater 62-53 on Nov. 28 before defeating Presentation College 68-48 on Dec. 1. The Maroons return to action on the road Saturday, Dec. 8 when they face Wheaton (Ill.) College at 2 p.m. |
