Chicago Finishes 4th at UAA Championship

BOSTON -- Senior Hannah Moots (Nashville, Tenn./ University School) earned All-University Athletic Association Second Team recognition as the University of Chicago women's cross country team placed fourth at the 2007 UAA Championship at Franklin Park.

Moots finished 13th among 78 runners with a time of 23:24 on the six-kilometer course.

Freshman Liz Lawton (North Easton, Mass./ Thayer Academy) missed earning All-UAA honors by one spot, as her time of 23:33 was good for 15th place.

Washington (Mo.) University featured four of the top eight overall runners en route to edging Case Western Reserve University for the team title. Washington collected 31 points in the final standings to hold off Case (44) and third-place Emory University (58). Chicago was next with 127 points.

Case's Esther Erb clocked a time of 22:19 to lead the field.
