Maroons Defeat #16 DePauw in Overtime

GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- Freshman forward Sarah Loh (Grand Rapids, Mich./ Forest Hills Northern) scored the only goal of the match midway through the first overtime period to give the University of Chicago women's soccer team a 1-0 win over 16th-ranked DePauw University Tuesday night.

Loh tallied unassisted at the 94:42 mark as the Maroons improved to 2-0 on the year. The goal was Loh's third of the season.

Chicago outshot the host Tigers (1-2) by a 15-7 margin. DePauw netminder Brooke Shipley made 13 saves to keep her team in the game.

Senior goalkeeper Amanda Sutter (Irvine, Calif./ University) stopped three shots to notch her first shutout of the season and fourth of her career.

The Maroons have held opponents scoreless for 184:42 through the season's first two contests.
