CHICAGO -- University of Chicago senior Christine Farmer (Pine City, N.Y./ Elmira Notre Dame) has been named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Five Women's Soccer Second Team.

A repeat selection, Farmer was the Maroons' third-leading scorer with five goals and one assist for 11 points during the 2007 campaign. A biology major with a 3.70 grade point average, Farmer garnered third-team honors a year ago.

Chicago (12-4-4) advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament and was the runner-up in the UAA with a 4-1-2 mark in conference play in 2007.
