Chicago Sweeps ITA Singles and Doubles

GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- University of Chicago sophomore Marissa Lin (Irvine, Calif./ Tustin) won the singles title and teamed with junior Vindya Dayananda (Kathmandu, Nepal/ Lincoln School) to capture the doubles crown at the Wilson/ITA Central Region Championships at DePauw University.

Lin won her first five matches before defeating DePauw's Janelle Arita by a 6-2, 6-3 score in the championship match.

Lin and Dayananda won the doubles title with a 6-0, 6-3 decision over DePauw's Sallie Crawford and Greer Mackie in Monday's championship contest.

Lin and Dayananda earned the opportunity to advance to the Wilson/ITA Small College Championship in October.
