GAMBIER, Ohio -- The 19th-ranked University of Chicago women's tennis team dropped two matches against top Central Region rivals Friday and Saturday at Kenyon College.

Chicago, which stands fifth in the most recent Central Region rankings, fell 7-2 to Denison University (1-1) Friday afternoon. Denison is curently ranked 10th in the nation and second in the region.

The Maroons then lost 5-4 to the region's 11th-ranked Kenyon College (2-0) Saturday evening.

Chicago owns a 4-3 overall record and is 2-2 against Division III competition.
