CHICAGO -- University of Chicago junior Vindya Dayananda (Kathmandu, Nepal/ Lincoln School) and sophomore Marissa Lin (Irvine, Calif./ Tustin) have been selected to participate in singles and doubles at the 2008 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship.

Dayananda and Lin were among 32 singles players and 16 doubles tandems chosen to compete in the Division III Championship at Gustavus Adolphus College May 16-18.

During the 2007-08 regular season, Dayananda and Lin finished 16-4 and 23-3, respectively, in singles play and teamed up to notch a 20-7 doubles mark.

Both players will make their second national tournament appearance. Lin qualified a year ago, while Dayananda was selected in 2006.
