Maroons Ranked 26th in Division III
CHICAGO -- Featuring three ranked singles players and two doubles tandems, the University of Chicago women's tennis team has been ranked 26th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll of NCAA Division III institutions.
The Maroons, who sport a 6-3 record, were also ranked fifth in the Central Region.
Sophomore Marissa Lin (Irvine, Calif./ Tustin), junior Vindya Dayananda (Kathmandu, Nepal/ Lincoln School), and freshman Chrissy Hu (Palo Alto, Calif./ Palo Alto) were listed third, 10th, and 15th, respectively, in singles.
Lin and Dayananda ranked third in doubles, while Hu and sophomore Justine Kentla (Palatine, Ill./ Palatine) were listed 14th.
Chicago returns to action with four matches in South Carolina from Mar. 24-27.
