Order of the "C" Completes 4th Annual Food & Clothing Drive
CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago's Undergraduate Order of the "C" recently donated approximately 700 pounds of food and clothing to the St. Columbanus and St. Gelasius Food Pantries.
The items were collected at the Maroons' Feb. 6 men's and women's basketball doubleheader.
During the past four years, Undergraduate Order of the "C" food and clothing drives have supplied local charitable organizations with more than 2,300 pounds of donated items.
Founded in 1904, the Undergraduate Order of the "C" is the body of varsity lettermen whose object is to support the cause of athletics at the University. It is the nation's longest-running collegiate men's athletics support organization.
