Will Zhang Eliminated at NCAA Quarterfinals

CLAREMONT, Calif. -- University of Chicago sophomore Will Zhang (Wynnewood, Pa./ Lower Merion) fell to the nation's top-seeded player Saturday morning in the quarterfinal round of the 2009 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Singles Championship at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges.

Zhang, who won a pair of matches Friday, dropped a 7-5, 6-2 decision to #1 seed John Kauss of Gustavus Adolphus College.

An All-American as a result of this week's performance, Zhang finished the year with an 18-9 overall record.
