Three Maroons Compete at Division III Championship

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- University of Chicago juniors Bill Cheng (Island Lake, Ill./ Wauconda) and Blake Obuchowski (Geneva, Ill./ Geneva) and sophomore Andrew Wells-Qu (Bethlehem, Conn./ Holy Cross) participated on the first day of the 2009 NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship Friday at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Competing in the preliminaries, Obuchowski and Cheng clocked respective times of 6.44 and 6.56 in the 55-meter dash, while Wells-Qu turned in a time of 1:55.62 in the 800-meter run. Neither runner advanced to Saturday's finals.
