Two Maroons Run at Nationals

HANOVER, Ind. -- Senior Rachel Venezia (Canton, Mass./ Canton) and sophomore Liz Lawton (North Easton, Mass./ Thayer Academy) participated as individuals at the 2008 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship Saturday at Hanover College.

Venezia and Lawton finished 142nd and 162nd, respectively, with six-kilometer times of 22:50 and 22:58.

Bethel (Minn.) College's Marie Borner clocked a time of 20:43 to pace the 279-runner field.

Middlebury College won the team championship with 179 points. Calvin College (237) and Williams College (240) were next.
