Francis Adarkwa Named to D3football.com Team of the Week

CHICAGO -- University of Chicago sophomore tailback Francis Adarkwa (Wheaton, Ill./ Wheaton-Warrenville South) has been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week based on his performance in the Maroons' 38-17 win at Oberlin College.

Adarkwa rushed for 180 yards and two touchdowns on 34 carries. He scored on a 2-yard plunge early in the second quarter to put the Maroons on top 14-3 before scoring Chicago's final touchdown from a yard away late in the third stanza. He also caught six passes for 78 yards, giving him 258 total yards on the day.

Adarkwa earned his first-ever selection to the D3football.team Team of the Week, which recognizes the top players at their respective positions throughout the NCAA Division III.
