Chicago Finishes 5th at UW-Parkside
KENOSHA, Wis. -- The University of Chicago men's cross country team captured fifth place at the 19-team University of Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational Saturday afternoon.
Chicago collected 167 points in the team standings as they finished behind Wayne State University (38), Augsburg College (73), DePaul University (75), and Ferris State University (108).
Senior Adam Kaye (Brookline, Mass./ Brookline) paced the Maroons on the eight-kilometer course as he placed 26th among 193 runners with a time of 26:53.
Junior Felipe Fernandez Del Castillo (Newton, Mass./ Belmont Hill) and senior Alex Garbier (Watertown, Mass./ Watertown) finished 40th and 42nd, respectively, with times of 27:16 and 27:19.
DePaul's Matthew Graham paced the field with a time of 25:17.
Chicago returns to action next Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational.
