Maroons Win Big in Season Debut

WHEATON, Ill. -- The University of Chicago men's swimming & diving team opened its 2009-10 season with a 168-37 win Saturday at Wheaton (Ill.) College.

Chicago swept the 11 events which included two relays.

Senior Brian Young (Douglassville, Pa./ St. Pius), sophomore Marius Aleska (Riverside, Ill./ Riverside Brookfield), sophomore Nicholas Santoro (Barrington, Ill./ Barrington), and freshman Justin Yu (South Barrington, Ill./ Barrington) each won one individual event and participated on a winning relay team.

Chicago returns to action Friday, Oct. 30 at the Illinois Institute of Technology at 6 p.m.
