Chris Giusto Named UAA Player of the Week

CHICAGO -- University of Chicago sophomore goalkeeper Chris Giusto (Davie, Fla./ Heritage) has been selected as the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for men's soccer (defense), the conference announced today.

Giusto posted a pair of shutouts in conference play this past weekend to increase his UAA-leading season total to 10. He made a pair of saves in the Maroons' 2-0 win at New York University (Oct. 30), before stopping six shots in a scoreless tie at Brandeis University (Nov. 1).

Giusto received his first career UAA Athlete of the Week award.
