Maroons Fall in Exhibition at UIC

CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago women's basketball team dropped an 84-67 decision to the University of Illinois-Chicago in an exhibition game Wednesday night at the UIC Pavilion.

Senior Molly Hackney (East Lansing, Mich./ Lansing Catholic) and sophomores Meghan Herrick (Cedarburg, Wis./ Cedarburg) and Bryanne Halfhill (Canfield, Ohio/ Canfield) each scored 11 points for the Maroons, while senior Jamie Stinson (Topeka, Kan./ Shawnee Heights) and junior Dana Kaplan (Commack, N.Y./ Commack) added 10 points apiece.

Shameia Green and Jasmine Bailey paced UIC with 19 points each. The Flames led 41-19 at halftime.
