Maroons Fall in Top-25 Matchup

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Illinois Wesleyan University's Molly O'Brien scored a pair of goals as the 10th-ranked Titans defeated the 15th-ranked University of Chicago women's soccer team 3-1 Saturday afternoon.

Illinois Wesleyan (3-0-2) netted the only goal of the first half when Elizabeth Sinclair tallied at the 30:49 mark.

The teams combined to score three times in the game's final eight minutes. O'Brien put the Titans up 2-0 at 83:24 before Chicago senior midfielder Claire Gill (Los Altos Hills, Calif./ King's Academy) found the back of the net off an assist from senior midfielder Katie Klamann (Kansas City, Mo./ Notre Dame de Sion) with 1:41 left in the match.

O'Brien capped the scoring with 34 seconds to play off an assist from Annmarie Dolak.

Alli Novak made three saves in goal for the Titans, while sophomore Emma Gormley (Carmel, Ind./ Carmel) collected one save for the Maroons (3-1).
