Jessica John, ATC, LAT
Head Personal Trainer
Jessica John joined the University of Chicago athletic department staff in March 2006 to help develop and implement personal training and
wellness services for users of the University's athletic and recreational
facilities and to assist the athletic training staff.
John is currently certified with the National Athletic Training Association
and the State of Illinois as an athletic trainer. She also holds a Certified Personal Trainer certification from the American Council on Excercise.
John, who has experience as a wellness coordinator, athletic trainer, and physical education instructor, earned a bachelor's degree in sports injury management from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in
2003.

Ingrid Roeder
Assistant Personal Trainer
Ingrid Roeder began working with the University of Chicago personal training program in the fall of 2007 as the service has grown to accommodate more clients.
Roeder has several years of experience in personal training with specialization in plyometrics and flexibility work.
She holds an associate’s degree with a certificate in fitness from the University of Southern Maine and is currently pursuing her master’s degree from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago.
Roeder also brings a background in dance and medical exercise/post-rehabilitation to the services she provides.
