DUBUQUE, Iowa – The No. 3 University of Chicago men's soccer team showed true to its latest ranking with a dominating 3-0 victory at No. 19 Loras College Wednesday night.

The unbeaten Maroons (5-0), who jumped six spots in the latest United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III poll, outshot the Duhawks (3-2) by 26-18 margin and 12-2 on goal in the road shutout, which gave UChicago senior keeper Hill Bonin (two saves) his fifth win of the year.

Junior forward Matthew Koh gave the Maroons the early advantage in the first half, scoring in the 6th minute on a 1-versus-1 situation set up by Dayo Adeosun's pass to make it 1-0 UChicago.

The teams would play scoreless ball the rest of the half, before senior midfielder Andre Abedian connected on short cross from freshman midfielder Carter Romero just 46 seconds into the second period.

With the game in control down the stretch, Adeosun added the exclamation point with just two seconds to play. On a loose ball created by a Koh shot and Loras save, the sophomore forward came out of the pack and fired the ball to the back of the net to create the final 3-0 score.

Loras did win the battle in corner kicks, 6-2, and also led in fouls, 16-6.

Duhawks keeper Jacob Peterson stopped eight shots for Loras, as UChicago's Adeosun (nine shots, five on goal) and Koh (seven shots, four on goal) led the Maroons' offensive attack.
