CHICAGO – For the second-straight year, the University of Chicago men's soccer team will host an opening weekend regional in the NCAA Division III Championship.
The Maroons concluded the regular season schedule with a 16-2 overall record and their third University Athletic Association (UAA) title in the past four seasons. The UAA conference championship gave UChicago an automatic bid into the NCAA postseason. It is their fourth-straight qualification for the NCAA Division III Championship and ninth overall in program history. In 2016, the Maroons advanced to the NCAA Round of 16.
UChicago will host the four-team regional on Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 11-12. The Maroons will open on Saturday against Lake Forest College (12-6-1). Dominican University (14-4) and Capital University (12-7-2) also play each other on Saturday. The winners will meet on Sunday.
