Men’s Tennis Drops 6-3 Decision to Gustavus Adolphus

WEST BEND, Wis. – The University of Chicago men's tennis team returned to competition after a three-week layoff on Friday night. The No. 3-ranked Maroons lost a 6-3 decision to No. 8-ranked Gustavus Adolphus College.

Doubles were hotly-contested across the board, as the match scores turned out 8-7, 8-7 and 8-6. UChicago took one of those matches courtesy of the first-year Jeremy Yuan and sophomore Tyler Raclin duo at No. 2.

Singles turned into a battle as well, with four matches going the full three sets. The Maroons received wins at No. 3 from senior Nicolas Chua and at No. 6 from junior Charlie Pei.
