Sophomore Mary Martin won the long jump (5.26 meters) and then finished runner-up in two events (200 and 60 meters) and Laura Darcey ran away with the indoor pentathlon, sweeping all five events – the 60-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump and 800 meters. She finished nearly 400 points ahead of the second-place finisher from Hope College.
