Maroon women's track and field continues action at NCAA Outdoor Championships with two event finals

GENEVA, Ohio – The University of Chicago women's track and field team was represented by three athletes in two event finals in the second day of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday.

Junior Ade Ayoola participated in the morning's opening competition – the women's high jump. Ayoola finished 16th overall with a final height of 1.62 meters.

The two-day women's heptathlon wrapped up on Friday as well. The last three events on the docket for the heptathlon included the long jump, javelin and 800 meters. In the field of 22 competitors, junior Olivia Cattau placed 14th with 4,409 points scored. Freshman Laura Darcey ended in 16th place with 4,334 points.
