CHICAGO – The University of Chicago women's cross country team was one of 32 teams selected on Sunday to participate in the upcoming NCAA Division III Championship.
The Maroons were an at-large selection to the field after taking fifth place at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Nov. 11. UChicago has qualified for the NCAA national meet for eight-straight years and 13 times overall. The team's best finish occurred in 2013 when the Maroons placed fourth.
Principia College will serve as host of the NCAA Division III Championship scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 18 at North Farm Facility in Elsah, Ill. The men's 8K race will commence at 11:00 AM (CT) followed by the women's 6K race at 12:15 PM (CT).
