"My son had a great time as always. The counselors at Super Summer Sports Camp are all mature, kind and caring U of C student-athletes. I can’t think of a better group of young adults for children to spend time with. All three of my sons have attended SSSC. Thanks for the outstanding summer memories!"
-Parent of 5th grade camper

"My daughter had an absolutely wonderful five weeks at Super Summer Sports Camp. She looked forward to every day, talked constantly about what she learned and played each day, and the fun she had with her group mates and counselors. She’s richer from the experience and we’ll look forward to returning again next year."
-Parent of 4th grade camper

"It’s a great program that my husband and I are happy about getting our daughter involved in. The staff and students are fantastic and so nice to the children. We especially liked how the camp was available for one week at a time."
-Parent of 2nd grade camper

"They’re always learning something new, and at the same time they’re also cycling back to reinforce and build on what they’ve learned. They’ve enjoyed becoming more confident and capable athletes."
-Parent of 1st and 4th grade campers

Overview

The University of Chicago Super Summer Sports Camp is a recreational sports camp for children of all ability levels.

Campers will learn and compete in team sports including basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball, along with playing a variety of traditional kid’s games. Tennis, archery, track and field and swimming are also offered.

Campers will be in the pool most days with group swim lessons offered at skill-specific levels, as well as organized free swim opportunities.

The campers participate with current coaches and student-athletes who prioritize creating a positive and encouraging experience for all. We work to educate campers and prevent teasing and bullying, particularly in an environment where children of diverse skill levels and backgrounds participate together. We stress the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and giving your best effort on a daily basis.

We offer three flexible options on a weekly or multi-weekly basis:

Morning
Monday – Friday
8:30 a.m.  – noon

Afternoon
Monday – Thursday
1 p.m.  – 4:30 p.m.

Full Day
Monday – Thursday
8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Friday
8:30 a.m. – noon

The Full Day option is a combination of our morning and afternoon camps. Campers will need to bring a lunch from home. We sell a variety of items such as water, fruit juice, Gatorade, chips, granola bars and fruit snacks to supplement what they bring.
