Doug Milliken enters his second year as an assistant men's and women's swimming coach and assistant director of aquatics in 2007-08.

Milliken boasts eight years of college coaching and administrative experience. Before joining the Chicago staff in the fall of 2006, he served as the athletic recruiting coordinator at North Park University from 2004-06.

Milliken previously served as assistant men's and women's swimming coach at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 2002-04 and as a student assistant coach at DePauw University from 1998-2001.

Milliken is a 2001 graduate of DePauw, where he received a bachelor's degree in communications. He earned a master's degree in recreation and sport management from Indiana State University in 2004.

Assistant Coach Ellen Bator

Ellen Bator begins her first season as assistant men's & women's swimming coach and assistant aquatics director in 2007-08.

Bator is a 2007 graduate of North Park University, where she was the founder and head coach of the North Park Swim Club.

She also served as a lifeguard and swim instructor for the Buheler YMCA in Palatine, Ill., from 2002-05 and was a senior swim coach for the Salt Creek Park District in Palatine in 2001.
