Doug Milliken enters his fifth year on the Chicago coaching staff and his third season as associate head coach in 2010-11.

In 2010, Milliken helped guide the men's team to a third-place finish and the women's squad to a second-place showing at the University Athletic Association Championships, marking the best-ever finishes by both teams in school history. At the conclusion of the event, Milliken was cited as a member of the UAA Women's Coaching Staff of the Year.

Milliken boasts 11 years of college coaching and administrative experience. Before joining the Chicago staff in the fall of 2006, he served as the athletic recruiting coordinator at North Park University from 2004-06.

Milliken previously served as assistant men’s and women’s swimming coach at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 2002-04 and as a student assistant coach at DePauw University from 1998-2001.

Milliken is a 2001 graduate of DePauw, where he received a bachelor’s degree in communications. He earned a master’s degree in recreation and sport management from Indiana State University in 2004.

Kendra Melnychuk becomes Chicago's first full-time diving coach in 2010-11.

She comes to Chicago following stints as coach for the Missouri Diving Club from 2006-2010 and as a volunteer coach at the University of Missouri in 2009-2010.

As a diver at Missouri, Melnychuk was a 2009 NCAA Division I All-American as a finalist on the 3-meter springboard. A two-time CSCAA Division I Academic All-American, she was later named the Mizzou Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Decade.

Melnychuk graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in French.
