Brian Young Swims Third Event at Nationals
MINNEAPOLIS -- University of Chicago junior Brian Young (Douglassville, Pa./ St. Pius) competed in his third and final event at the 2009 NCAA Division III Men's Swimming & Diving Championship Saturday at the University of Minnesota. Young posted a time of 1:54.50 in the 200-yard backstroke preliminaries, but did not advance to the finals.

Maroons Post Best-Ever UAA Finish
CHICAGO -- With 10 NCAA Division III qualifying performances and seven All-University Athletic Association efforts, the University of Chicago men's swimming & diving team finished in fourth place at the 2009 UAA Championship. The fourth-place finish marked Chicago's highest since the UAA's inaugural championship event in 1988.

Costa Rica Tour Daily Blog
During this year's winter break, the University of Chicago men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams will travel to San Jose, Costa Rica, to train and compete in the warmth of Central America. While there, the team plans to send a daily blog of the trip written by first-year students, Lelia Glass and Zach Lain.
