CHICAGO -- University of Chicago senior Brian Young (Douglassville, Pa./ St. Pius) has been named this week's University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for men's swimming & diving.

CHICAGO -- Competing in its final dual meet of the year, the 14th-ranked University of Chicago men's swimming & diving team edged seventh-ranked DePauw University 150-149. With the victory, the Maroons finished the season 6-1 overall and 5-0 against Division III opponents in dual meet action. Senior Brian Young (Douglassville, Pa./ St. Pius) and freshman Ken Feng (Maple Grove, Minn./ Maple Grove) (pictured) each won a pair of events.

CHICAGO -- The 14th-ranked University of Chicago men's swimming & diving team defeated a pair of nationally-ranked opponents in dual meet action Saturday at the Myers-McLoraine Pool, with wins over second-ranked Kalamazoo College and 23rd-ranked Carthage College. Sophomore Paul Morimoto (Hinsdale, Ill./ Central) (pictured) won the 500- and 1,000-yard freestyles, while freshman John Gallagher (Ardsley, N.Y./ Fordham Prep) set a school record on the 3-meter board.
