Ellie Elgamal Named Division III Swimmer of the Week
 CHICAGO -- University of Chicago sophomore Ellie Elgamal (San Diego, Calif./ Bishop's School) has been selected as the NCAA Division III women's swimmer of the week by CollegeSwimming.com. Elgamal posted a pair of NCAA Division III provisional-qualifying times at the Chicago Invitational.

Costa Rica Tour Daily Blog
 During this year's winter break, the University of Chicago men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams will travel to San Jose, Costa Rica, to train and compete in the warmth of Central America. While there, the team plans to send a daily blog of the trip written by first-year students, Lelia Glass and Zach Lain.

CHICAGO -- Four Maroons posted NCAA Division III qualifying performances and two earned All-University Athletic Association honors as the University of Chicago women's swimming & diving team captured fourth place at the 2009 UAA Championship. The fourth-place showing marked Chicago's best performance at the UAA Championship since it was first held in 1988.
