NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The University of Chicago wrestling team split 10 bouts with ninth-ranked North Central College, but came out on the losing end of a 20-15 decision to the Cardinals Wednesday night. Senior Troy Carlson (Cary, Ill./ Cary-Grove), juniors Matt Hart (Wood Dale, Ill./ Fenton) and Ryan Hatten (Florissant, Mo./ McCleur North) (pictured), and freshmen Joseph Ruettiger (Joliet, Ill./ Minooka) and James Layton (Chesterfield, Mo./ DeSmet Jesuit) won by decision.

CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago wrestling team fell to Olivet College 33-6 in its 2009-10 season debut Tuesday night at the Ratner Athletics Center. Senior Troy Carlson (Cary, Ill./ Cary-Grove) and sophomore Jimmy Schoettle (Indianapolis, Ind./ Perry Meridian) posted the Maroons' two victories.
