CHICAGO -- University of Chicago senior Troy Carlson (Cary, Ill./ Cary-Grove) has been named this week's University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for wrestling.
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The University of Chicago wrestling team won its third straight dual match on the road Wednesday night with a 22-16 victory at Augustana (Ill.) College. The teams split the 10 bouts, but wins-by-fall by junior heavyweight Ryan Hatten (Florissant, Mo./ McCleur North) (pictured) and freshman 133-pounder Francisco Acosta (Cresskill, N.J./ Don Bosco Prep) accounted for the Maroons' margin of victory.
