Bob Petrowski is in his 10th year with the University of Chicago in 2020-21. He serves as the Assistant Director for Athletic Facilities Management.
Petrowski's responsibilities include managing the daily facilities operations and oversight of the University of Chicago's athletic and recreational facilities. As the Membership Services manager, Petrowski accounts for all the marketing and sales of memberships for faculty, staff, alumni, and friends and family of the University community. Petrowski also oversees customer service at the recreational facilities through managing the membership services staff and works with other campus organizations to promote the recreational facilities to the University community.
Originally from Tinley Park, Illinois, Petrowski obtained his bachelor's degree in actuarial science from Valparaiso University in 2009 and received his master's degree in sports administration from Valparaiso in 2011. As an undergrad, Petrowski worked extensively with Valpo Rec Sports as an intramural sports coordinator and served on the Intramural Advisory Council. While completing his master's degree, Petrowski served as the Graduate Coordinator for Intramural Sports and also assisted with the opening of Valparaiso's new Fitness Center in the Fall of 2009.
