NCAA Division III Finalists

Beginning with the men's and women's soccer teams trips to the Final Four in 1996, 18 University of Chicago sports teams have finished among the top-four in NCAA Division III Championship competition.

In 2012, women's tennis became the first UChicago team to accomplish the feat in four-consecutive years.

Women's soccer, which has made five national Final Four appearances, achieved the highest-ever finish by a UChicago sports team when it lost in overtime in the championship match of the 2005 NCAA Tournament, then equaled that feat in 2017 with a runner-up finish. Women's tennis also posted a second-place showing in 2012.

In all, 10 different UChicago teams have made a combined 102 trips to NCAA postseason tournaments.
