Gaelic games activity, game vs. Killester
And another day in Ireland is officially in the books. We started off day nine by immersing ourselves in the Irish sports culture, learning the three gaelic games of Celtic football, handball and hurling. After brief introductions to each sport, we were able to compete in the games ourselves which was quite fun. Following this, we got some much-needed rest before we headed out to play our basketball game versus Killester. Our women's team got the double header started by taking care of business and then it was up to us. Following a great first half, we unfortunately came up one point short in the end with a controversial call with no time left on the clock. Overall, this trip has been amazing and speaking on behalf of the team, we could not be more grateful for the opportunity given to us!! Cheers.
