UChicago concluded their four-game European trip with hard-fought game against NK Dravograd. After going down 1-0, Kyle Kurfirst leveled the score with an incisive pass from Nick Hollenkamp. Unfortunately, Dravograd proved a worthy opponent by immediately scoring a second and saving a Kurfirst penalty kick.

The immensely impressive backdrop deep into the Slovenian Mountains and along the river Drava was a great end to four very good games for UChicago. Earlier in the day, the boys visited the very beautiful city of Ljulabljana and the day before they were in Maribor.

Everyone is very excited about the upcoming preseason in the following days and welcoming the incoming freshman. Certainly the cities, the sea and the mountains of Croatia and Slovenia will have created memories and bonds for the team moving forward into the 2013 season.
