Women's Basketball / Guard / Freshman / Boston, Mass.
Major: undecided
Alina Brennan is a first-year guard on the UChicago women's basketball team. Brennan has appeared in three games so far for the No. 5-ranked Maroons, who won their opening six contests of the season. The rookie also scored four points in her collegiate debut at Lake Forest College.
Teammate Olariche Obi: "As a senior, I am inspired by how hard Alina already works and how much she is willing to speak and bring energy each day, despite being a freshman and newbie to the program. She might think that what she does goes unnoticed, but there are a lot of her teammates, myself included who are so incredibly proud to be on the court with her every day. She is truly the best!"
