A free Discover Dive hosted by Learn Scuba Chicago for University of Chicago students and staff will occur on Wednesday, January 16 from 7:30 - 9:00 PM in the Myers-McLoraine Pool. Email idive@learnscubachicago.org to sign up. Advance scheduling necessary.
Certification confined water class will begin Wednesday, January 30, and is offered at a discounted rate to students and staff ($275), which includes eLearning. The certification classes will occur on:
- Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 7:30 - 9:00 PM
- Wednesday, Feb. 27 from 7:30 - 9:00 PM
- Wednesday, Mar. 6 from 7:30 - 9:00 PM
- Wednesday, Mar. 20 from 7:30 - 9:00 PM
Advance registration necessary. Last day to register is January 13. Only required gear is a mask, snorkel, boots, and scuba-fins, all of which Learn Scuba Chicago sells in-store. The rest is provided!
Open water dives that complete the certification can be completed June-October 2019 (discounted rate of $150), or by referral.
