UChicago (14-8 record) will play a road doubleheader against Millikin University (14-10) on Tuesday evening.
The Maroons took three of four from visitors last week. On Thursday, the hosts powered past Aurora University by scores of 5-3 and 12-7. Junior outfielder Maeve Garvey and sophomore catcher Holli Jones combined for back-to-back home runs, and Garvey added a second later on as she racked up six RBI on the day. Friday saw UChicago split two games with University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Stellar pitching from senior Molly Moran and a home run from first-year Abby Hayes propelled the Maroons to a 2-1 win in the first contest, but the Warhawks pulled away for an 11-0 victory in the second game.
The Maroons (15-7 record) will host Edgewood College (6-14) on Thursday before a home doubleheader against Benedictine University (12-5) on Saturday.
UChicago won all three games it played last week. On Tuesday, offensive fireworks sparked a comeback victory over Illinois Tech. The Maroons trailed 12-4 after five innings, but scored eight runs in the top of the sixth and five more in the top of the seventh to emerge as 18-13 victors. Friday brought a pair of wins in a doubleheader over Finlandia University, with tallies of 6-1 and 6-0. Senior Maximiliano Larsen broke the school record for doubles with the 51st of his career. Junior pitcher Brenton Villasenor set a new career high with 12 strikeouts in seven innings against the Lions.
No. 3-ranked UChicago (13-3 record) will visit Division I opponent Valparaiso University (7-11) on Saturday in its final match ahead of the upcoming University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships.
Last weekend, the men's squad took two of three matches on a trip to Wisconsin. On Friday, the Maroons dropped a tight 6-3 decision to No. 8 Gustavus Adolphus College. UChicago rallied on Saturday to take down tenth-ranked rivals Washington University - St. Louis by a 7-2 margin. It marked the first time UChicago has beaten WashU twice in-a-row in a season. A 9-0 sweep of University of Wisconsin-Whitewater finished things up on Sunday. Senior Nicolas Chua went 3-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles en route to earning Monday's UAA Athlete of the Week honors.

Outdoor Track & Field
The Maroon track and field squads will compete in the Wheaton College Don Church Twilight Meet on Saturday. It will be UChicago's last tune-up before the UAA Outdoor Championships.
The Maroons claimed three event titles at the weather-shortened Benedictine University Relays last Friday. Senior Claire Costelloe (5,000 meters) and sophomore Isabel Garon (pole vault) were winners for the women, while junior Ansel Richards came in first in the men's 10,000 meters. In total, 18 athletes finished in the top five of their respective events.
