The second-ranked Maroons (8-0-1) visit Elmhurst College (1-7) on Tuesday evening in their final tune-up for conference play, which begins on Saturday morning when they host No. 4-ranked University of Rochester (7-0) at Stagg Field.
UChicago has five teams from the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) on its schedule this year. The squad has a cumulative record of 12-1-1 against CCIW competition since the start of the 2016 season. Senior forward Matthew Koh scored two goals and dished out three assists on the week, breaking the school record for career assists (27) in the process. Sophomore goalkeeper Aaron Katsimpalis has not allowed a goal in his last five appearances.

This week pits No. 3-ranked UChicago (7-0-1 record) against two nationally-ranked opponents. The Maroons face a non-conference test on the road against No. 22-ranked Wheaton College (6-2) on Tuesday night before returning to Stagg Field for the University Athletic Association (UAA) opener against No. 18-ranked University of Rochester (5-1-1).
With two wins last week, the Maroons are now 27-1 in their last 28 September contests. Twelve different players have scored at least one goal so far this year. First-year forward Nicole Willing scored in the final minute of regulation to lead her team to a come-from-behind 2-1 win at Calvin College on Saturday.

The UChicago men's tennis squad heads to St. Louis this weekend for the annual ITA Central Regional. The Maroons have swept the singles and doubles ITA regional titles in each of the past four seasons. Sophomore Jeremy Yuan is the reigning singles and doubles champion, alongside junior teammate Tyler Raclin.
Last weekend, the men saw their first action of the fall at the Western Michigan University Invitational. In a tough competition featuring Division I opponents, the Maroons racked up nine wins in singles matches and 11 victories in doubles bouts.

No. 14-ranked UChicago (15-2 record) will travel east for the first UAA Round Robin of the season. On Saturday, the Maroons take on host Brandeis University (7-5) and Case Western Reserve University (10-6) before capping off the weekend on Sunday against rivals No. 8-ranked Washington University – St. Louis (9-3).
The Maroons are 3-1 against nationally-ranked opposition this season, including their latest 3-1 victory against No. 6-ranked Trinity University (Texas) on Friday. Sophomore setter Emma Griffith was named UAA Setter of the Week for third time this season after averaging 11.25 assists per set. Junior middle hitter Madison Pearson hit .500 across four matches and was the UAA Offensive Athlete of the Week.

Men's and Women's Cross Country
UChicago returns to action this Saturday as the men and women's teams compete in the Loyola Lakefront Invitational at Montrose Park.
Both the men's and women's squads placed third at Wheaton College's Gil Dodds Invitational back on Sept. 15. First-year Henry Myers was the top finisher once again for the Maroons in 10th place, while junior Maggie Boudreau crossed the line in 11th.
